Krystal Marie Ball

 Krystal Marie, who was born on November 24, 1981, is an American political commentator. She was previously a political hopeful as an American television host at MSNBC, a frequent contributor of The Huffington Post, former host and co-host of The Hill's Rising together with Saagarenjeti. In the month of May, 2021 Ball and Enjeti announced that they were leaving the show in order to start their own project called Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-host of the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared as a guest on networks such as CNN, CNBC, Fox News as well as programs like Real Time with Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball attributes her new political interest due to her experience as a mother during the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she observed the US elections for president during her time in Jordan. She was able to observe how the election affected those in that country, and thus she was able to appreciate the worldwide impact US politics have on the lives of all people in the world. She was a Senior Fellow at the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party's nominee for Congress in Virginia's 1st congressional District in 2010. She was defeated by Rob Wittman, the Republican incumbent. She co-hosted The Cycle on MSNBC program The Cycle from June 2012 until July 2015. She founded the People's House Project in May 2017 to help Democratic causes.
